My first baby bump session

I was blessed to be able to take Olesya and Vovan Gurlov's maternity pictures last Sunday and can I just say, I could not have chose a more beautiful couple to do my very first maternity pictures.  Olesya is due June 24th, being so close to her due date we wanted to get the pictures done ASAP and I'm glad we did.  Murray Park, the location we went to for pictures, ended up completely flooding the morning after we took the pictures!  In some of the pictures you can see how high the water level was.  I wish I would have taken pictures off the side of the bridge, I couldn't believe how high the water was.
I am looking forward to the day Olesya and Vovan are able hold their little Jonathon in their arms and I hope they have me take his pictures!

Another day at the farm

The weather Wednesday was so perfect.  Not too hot, not cold either.  Blue skies and a perfect light breeze.  I would have liked to have taken more pictures, but I always get caught up in the fellowship.  Here are some shots from that beautiful day.

The one thing I'd like to step out of my photography box to talk about is Thomas Hollenbach.  He is a sweet 8 year old little boy who has a brain stem tumor.  His dad, Greg, who is a Salt Lake City Police officer spoke about what is currently happening with Thomas' treatment and how Thomas is doing, which isn't well.  Every Wed night at 9:00 PM they will be having prayer for Thomas and his family.  Everyone is invited to join is and I ask that any of you reading this right now will also take part in that time of prayer for this boy.  He is very sick and it's going to take a miracle to heal him.  I have enough faith that God will heal him of this illness, the hard thing for me is having to consider that it may not be God's will to heal him.  This is why it's important to be praying not just for a supernatural healing in his body but also be praying for his family and those close to him.  You can read the his full story on his website.
